If you are based in England or Wales, The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) will pay a huge £7,500 grant to help install a low carbon heating system in your property.
With the UK government trying to meet the net-zero emissions target, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) was introduced in April 2022. This scheme replaced the (RHI) Renewable Heat Incentive.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) promotes and supports the installation of heat pumps in England and Wales.
This grant aims to help property owners in both England and Wales with the initial heat pump costs.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) applies to mainly homes, but also non-domestic properties.

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) will have a budget of £450 million over a 3 year period. The scheme will run up to March 2025 and will provide grants of:
£7,500 towards the costs of air source heat pumps.

Who is eligible for the BUS scheme?
There are certain criteria to be eligible, these requirements are shown below:

Your property must be located in England or Wales
You must be a homeowner or small business owner
Your property must have a valid energy performance certificate issued within the last 10 years.
